3300-lumen 4K HDR projector, 120” screen, soundbar + subwoofer + surround speakers. Total cost ~$2500

I bought these in the US, carried them to Jaffna, and installed them. It is set up in the living room, without any serious effort to darken the room. The video shows, in order, night with lights off, night with lights on, and daytime with lights off. The color bars are artifacts of the phone recording.

Setup

  • I connected the projector to the soundbar with the HDMI cable (eARC sound)
  • The soundbar, subwoofer, and surround speakers are connected wirelessly
  • I fixed the screen such that bottom 1/3 was at eye level when sitting down
  • The projector was fixed at 3.3m (~11 ft)
